We, [DATA CONTROLLER(s)], use the Utiq technology for digital marketing or analytics (as described on this consent notice) based on your browsing activity across our property(ies) (see list hosted in consenthub.utiq.com) (only if you are using a supported internet connection (see list hosted in privacy.utiq.com) provided by a participating telecom operator and consent on each property).

The Utiq technology is privacy centric to give you choice and control.

It uses an identifier created by your telecom operator based on your IP address and a telecom reference such as your telecom account (e.g., mobile number).

The identifier is assigned to the internet connection, so anyone connecting their device and consenting to the Utiq technology will receive the same identifier. Typically on a broadband connection (e.g., Wi-Fi), the marketing or analytics will be performed based on the browsing activities of consenting household members’.

By consenting, you confirm that you have permission from the telecom account holder to enable the Utiq technology on this internet connection.

If you share this device, please ensure that others are aware of the use of Utiq as well. If you consent and only if you're using a supported internet connection (see list hosted in privacy.utiq.com) from a participating telecom operator, you will allow the activation and use of Utiq technology on this digital property.

Activation details:

As part of the activation of the technology, Utiq confirms this using your IP address. If confirmed, your IP address is shared with your telecom operator to create a pseudonymous identifier ("Network Signal"). This is done by matching your IP address to a reference to the telecom account associated with the connection (e.g. telecom account number or mobile number). This identifier is then provided to Utiq, without sharing other personal data. Utiq uses it to operate the technology which involves the creation of additional identifiers, including marketing specific ones, with limited duration, as described in Utiq’s privacy statement. These are stored in your device along with first party cookies and other device storage information.

Usage by this digital property:

We only receive the marketing identifiers from Utiq. We use them for activities like personalising ads or content and analytics on this and other digital properties (see list hosted in consenthub.utiq.com) using the Utiq technology, depending on the consents you gave. They help us understand your browsing behaviour and connect visits across our digital property(ies) and other property(ies) managed by [DATA CONTROLLER(s)] (only if you agree to the activation of the Utiq technology on each one separately). These identifiers are also shared with partner advertising platforms, where needed to conduct the specific marketing or analytics activities.

Einzelheiten zur Aktivierung:

Im Rahmen der Aktivierung der Technologie bestätigt Utiq dies anhand Ihrer IP-Adresse. Nach Bestätigung wird Ihre IP-Adresse an Ihren Telekommunikationsanbieter weitergegeben, um eine pseudonyme Kennung (das sog. „Network Signal“) zu erstellen. Dies geschieht durch den Abgleich Ihrer IP-Adresse mit einer zugehörigen Kundenkonto-Referenz (z. B. Kunden- oder Telefonnummer) beim Telekommunikationsanbieter. Nur die Kennung wird dann an Utiq weitergegeben, ohne dass andere persönliche Daten übermittelt werden. Utiq verwendet sie zum Betrieb seiner Technologie. Dies beinhaltet die Erstellung zusätzlicher Kennungen, einschließlich Marketing-bezogener Kennungen mit begrenzter Laufzeit, wie in der Datenschutzerklärung von Utiq beschrieben. Diese werden in Ihrem Gerät zusammen mit sog. „First Party Cookies“ und anderen Gerätespeicherinformationen abgelegt.

Nutzung durch dieses digitale Angebot:

Wir erhalten von Utiq nur die Marketing-bezogenen Kennungen. If you accept and use a supported internet connection (mobile and broadband) (see list hosted in privacy.utiq.com), we, [DATA CONTROLLER], will use marketing identifiers provided by Utiq for advertising or analytics activities (as described on this consent notice). Utiq works with your telecom operator, which will use your IP address against internal data (e.g. mobile number) without disclosing it, to create identifiers for each connection you use.

We use the identifiers to link the browsing activity across our property(ies) (see list hosted in consenthub.utiq.com) where Utiq consent is given, including of others using the same connection.

You can reject now or reopen the privacy settings ([INSERT OPTION TO OPEN PRIVACY SETTINGS]) or in Utiq’s privacy portal (“consenthub.utiq.com”) to withdraw this consent later.

If you consent, you agree to the following processing:

• Eligibility check: Utiq uses your IP address to check if you’re using a supported internet connection (see list hosted in privacy.utiq.com). If you are not, Utiq will not be activated.

• Activation of Utiq technology: Your IP address is shared with your telecom operator to create a secure identifier ("Network Signal") for each supported connection you use (mobile and broadband), created now or later when you switch connections. To do this, your operator matches your IP address with internal data (e.g. mobile number), without disclosing it. Only this identifier is then provided to Utiq.

• Creation of Utiq identifiers: Utiq uses the Network Signal to create additional Utiq identifiers, including marketing specific ones for each connection, stored in your browser with first party cookies and other device storage information.

• Sharing and use of marketing identifiers: Utiq only shares with us the marketing identifiers for each connection that we can use to understand your browsing behaviour and connect visits across our property(ies) (see list hosted in consenthub.utiq.com) (only if you agree to the activation of the Utiq technology on each one separately). This helps us, for example, to personalise or customise content in our property(ies), to recognise you when you return, or to enable us or our selected partners to create audiences for advertising or analytics, as explained below. If the connection is shared (typically in the case of broadband), the same identifiers are assigned to each consenting person on that connection, linking their browsing behaviour.

• Sharing of Utiq identifiers to advertising and analytics platforms: Certain Utiq identifiers will be transferred to these platforms that work with us and/or Utiq. We supplement these identifiers with data we hold about your browsing activity and profile, which is further processed in these platforms to show you personalised ads (our own or our partners’) or conduct analytics, according to the consents you have given us. This can involve display of ads, managing how frequently ads are shown or measuring the performance of the ads. The analytics activities can involve comparison analysis to produce aggregated reports or select audiences for activation. • Activation de la technologie Utiq : Votre adresse IP est partagée avec votre opérateur télécom afin de créer un identifiant sécurisé (« Network Signal ») pour chacune des connexions internet que vous utilisez (mobile et fixe), par exemple lorsque vous changez de connexion internet. Pour cela, votre opérateur associe votre adresse IP à des données internes (par ex. numéro téléphone), sans les divulguer. Seul cet identifiant est ensuite transmis à Utiq.

• Création des identifiants Utiq : Utiq utilise le Network Signal pour créer des identifiants Utiq supplémentaires, un par type de connexion internet utilisée, notamment à des fins marketing, stockés dans votre navigateur grâce à des cookies et autres moyens de stockage de l’appareil.

• Partage et utilisation des identifiants marketing : Utiq ne partage avec nous que des identifiants marketing, un par type de connexion internet utilisée, que nous pouvons utiliser pour comprendre votre comportement de navigation et relier vos visites sur nos contenus éditoriaux et publicitaires (voir la liste des propriétés en question sur consenthub.utiq.com) (uniquement si vous acceptez l’activation de la technologie Utiq sur chacune d’elles séparément).
