Utiq Privacy Requirements

Last updated: 11/06/2024 (v2.0)

Sections updated:

Updates have been made throughout for clarification purposes and to make improvements to our terminology (e.g., telecom operators, Utiq technology, etc.).

We are now supporting a new model to capture Utiq consent: “Integrated model” (Integrate Utiq’s consent in website’s main CMP). We have added the implementation guideline for Didomi CMP.

All texts (Utiq consent text, “Manage Utiq” page, domain’s privacy statement, telecom operators' transparency text) have been updated for both models (“Utiq separate pop-up” and “Integrated model”).

We have extended the Utiq consent validity timeframe to 180 days.

Introduction

The Utiq technology seeks to establish a robust consent and user transparency experience which has been carefully developed with the aim of putting users’ privacy first and ensure compliance with applicable privacy and data protection laws.

This documentation outlines the detailed steps to ensure correct implementation of the requirements that Utiq Customers must comply with as part of their involvement in the provision of the Utiq technology.

Our documentation is a living entity, evolving alongside our solution. As a result, we may update it from time to time, including any texts provided.
